Lectures

ArkéoTopia offers a lecture service to help you discover the history of the  human being through our artistic and technical productions. Our lectures are about topics falling under the umbrella of heritage, art history, science, techniques, ethnology, history and archaeology.

Our lectures will show you the way through space and time for 1 hour, guided by experts at the helm. Listen to their words and let them mull around to better engage with the speakers of the day and speak with them for about fifteen minutes in a simple and friendly way.

Warning: Please do not get our lecture service and our ArkaeoView service mixed up. While the ArkaeoView fits the content of a lecture perfectly, the form, for one, is very different. To learn more, see the ArkaeoView presentation in the dedicated section.

ArkaeOdyssey

In order to bring knowledge and leisure together, the ArkaeOdysseys guide you several times a year through roads less traveled towards places that overflow with history and stories to discover: heritage sites looked after by associations or communities, private or public museums, excavation sites, personal collections, etc. – all of which will allow you to discover archaeology like you have never seen it before. These excursions are organized in collaboration between ArkéoTopia and the host institutions of the archaeological collection.

ArkaeoKids

Raising children and teens’ awareness about scientific and technical culture via archaeology, that is the challenge of Arkaeo Secrets and ArkaeoKids by ArkeoTopia, an alternative approach to archaeology®. Made by archaeology scientific mediators and hosted by archaeologists, Arkaeo Secrets and ArkaeoKids allow a younger audience to discover archaeology and much more. Thus, they can discover the impact of archaeology in their daily life (i.e. on cultural heritage, the environment, diplomacy, and society in general).

By drawing on the trio of knowledge, know-how, and social skills, we also wish to contribute to the development of knowledge, skills and civic-mindedness in children and teens alike. To learn more, don’t hesitate to contact us
